Join the WordCamp Lisboa Organizing Team!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>WordCamp Lisboa 2023 takes place in May here in Lisbon. Applications to join the organizing team opened in June. The team is now complete, though one opening remains: photography!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a passion for photography and WordPress, we\u2019re looking for you! Join our team of volunteers in organizing one of the largest WordPress events in Portugal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your responsibilities would be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help the Content &amp; Communications and Design teams with the website build by advising on, selecting and or producing images for the website.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help select the team of event photographers from the pool of volunteers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage the team of photographers at the various WordCamp Lisboa 2023 events, for example sessions, workshops, candid social moments, and afterparty.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in monthly organizing meetings, help make event decisions, and assist other teams&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>See photography examples from previous events: <a href=\"https:\/\/lisboa.wordcamp.org\/2019\/?s=fotos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WordCamp Lisboa 2019<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/wceu\/albums\/72177720299472480\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WordCamp Europe 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although this work is voluntary, to ensure a successful event each volunteer commits to performing the responsibilities of their role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WordCamp Lisboa is a local community event; the ideal candidate will be located in or around Lisbon, but any application is welcome.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organizers of WordCamp Lisboa are committed to diversity and inclusion; applications from diverse voices are very welcome!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to join the team?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lisboa.wordcamp.org\/2023\/candidatura-a-organizador\/\"><strong>Submit your application and portfolio here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Photo:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/wceu\/52158708483\/in\/album-72177720299472480\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Kostas Fryganiotis, WordCamp Europe 2022<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WordCamp Lisboa 2023 takes place in May here in Lisbon.
