A writer and cybersecurity specialist with extensive experience in the tech field, Lucas focuses on Information Security, Big Data, and Data Privacy, combining technical expertise with a practical and educational approach. Steve Mosby
Steve is a finance professional who runs his accounting business in the UK using WordPress. He has been an organiser of WordCamp Europe for several years, with a passion for community and collaboration. In his session held in the Community and Contribution day, “Stronger Together: WordCamps and the Future of Our Community”, Steve will highlight how WordCamps unite people, share insights from behind the scenes, and inspire others to get involved in organising local events.
José Freitas
José Freitas is a marketing and communication specialist who has been building WordPress websites since 2008. An active member of the community, he has organised and volunteered at several WordCamps, including leading roles at WordCamp Europe 2022 and 2023. Founder of Kaksi Media, he helps businesses strengthen their online presence through optimised websites and tailored digital marketing strategies. In his session in portuguese, “28 de Junho está a chegar: Os teus sites estão prontos para a Lei de Acessibilidade?” (June 28 Is Coming: Are Your Sites Ready for the Accessibility Law?), José will explain the impact of the new European Accessibility Act coming into effect in 2025. He’ll cover who is affected, how to ensure legal compliance, and how accessibility can become a competitive advantage.
