At WordCamp Lisboa 2025, we\u2019re expanding this tradition with our Community and Contribution Day<\/a><\/strong>: a day not just for hands-on contribution, but also for reflection and discussion about the future of our community.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The usual contribution tables will be open throughout the entire day, with a relaxed and inclusive format focused on areas such as translation, design, and security. Whether you’re a seasoned contributor or just curious about how you can help, you\u2019re welcome to bring your laptop and join in at any time.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that\u2019s not all.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 11:30 AM, we\u2019ll welcome Steve Mosby<\/a><\/strong>, one of the Lead Organisers of WordCamp Europe 2025, for a special talk titled \u201cStronger together: WordCamps and the future of our Community\u201d<\/a>.<\/strong> Steve will reflect on the unique role of WordCamps and Meetups in building real-world connections, highlight the importance of volunteer-run events, and share behind-the-scenes insights to inspire more people to get involved.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following Steve\u2019s talk, we\u2019ll host a panel discussion on the future of the WordPress Portugal community<\/strong>. This will be an open conversation with members of the community about how we can grow, collaborate, and shape what comes next \u2014 together.<\/bdo><\/p>\n\n\n\n
