Arūnas is an experienced WordPress plugin developer. He has been using WordPress since version 2.6.3 and has developed a number of free, premium and custom plugins. Arūnas has 15 years of experience in Web development. Currently he is working on Kayak.com content platform architecture. He is a WordPress Core Contributor, WordPress Kaunas Meetup co-organizer, WordCamp (Lithuania, Riga, Stockholm, Jyväskylä, Oslo, Norrköping) speaker and co-editor of the Lithuanian WordPress translation.

Carole Olinger
I joined the WordPress community in 2016 – during a four-year sabbatical to take care of my mental health – and it was life-changing!
I quit my former job as a government administrator, left my home country Luxembourg, and threw myself into WordCamp volunteering, organizing, and speaking while traveling the world.
Furthermore, I quickly became an advocate for positive mental health, diversity, and inclusion in tech.Recently, I joined Yoast as a Culture & Recruitment Strategist after finding my passion in taking team culture and recruitment marketing to the next level.
I am also the Head of CloudFest Hackathon, enabling the setting of milestones for open-source projects at the leading conference for cloud computing.In the past few years, I have worked in various roles at several companies in the WordPress industry, including a leading WebOps platform and a renowned WordPress agency.
My current home base is in a rural region of Germany, where I share my partially digital nomadic life with my husband and #BuffyTheDog, who I successfully trained to be my certified psychiatric service dog.
The contrast and variety between quiet country life and adventurous travels around the world, all while working remotely, have proven to be a true source of inspiration for me. -

Cheryl is a former pharmacist turned successful entrepreneur, who has demonstrated an impressive aptitude for building and growing businesses.
After realizing her passion for entrepreneurship, Cheryl began teaching herself the necessary skills through online courses and YouTube videos.
She joined forces with her husband in building and growing their e-commerce business, leveraging her expertise in influencer marketing and social media to build a strong online presence for their brand.
Cheryl has also shown a talent for creating engaging content, growing her personal TikTok account to almost 60,000 followers and her brand’s social media accounts to over 30,000 followers.
Her dedication and hard work have made her a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to build successful businesses through self-education and innovative marketing strategies.

Dave Lockie
Dave Lockie is Web3 Lead at Automattic. Born and raised in the UK, he now lives in Portugal.
Working with WordPress since 2007, Dave’s been a freelancer, agency owner and entrepreneur. In 2017 he became fascinated by crypto and found himself compulsively thinking about how his two technology passions would intersect. This has naturally evolved into curiosity about technological innovation and disruption both for WordPress and ultimately, humanity.
Dave is a deep thinker, experienced speaker and writer on how we can use technology to create a better world and loves helping people think beyond their day-to-day. He is an advisor to Adnode and has previously worked with WordProof, Grant for the Web, founded Pragmatic and is co-chair of the BIMA Web3 council.
He’s loving his family’s new life in Portugal with more sunshine and more opportunities to be out in nature. Once worked as a herpetologist in Indonesia, running around the forest catching snakes, lizards and frogs. Now, music, food, reading, fitness, zoology and friends are all huge passions. Strong believer that pineapple does belong on pizza (just not all pizzas).

A Minha jornada com o WordPress começou em 2008, quando criei o meu primeiro tema. Isso foi seguido por muitos anos trabalhando com a plataforma em várias empresas.
Seguido por dez anos de contribuição com o WordPress, organizando WordCamps, traduções, contribuição principal e o mais recente Projeto Learn WordPress. Em 2010, inaugurei o primeiro curso de WordPress na escola técnica ‘DRC’ localizada em São Paulo.
Passei anos trabalhando em agências digitais, onde invariavelmente usava WordPress, e depois ocupei cargos em empresas como UOL, Blackberry, Deloitte e Google.

O meu nome é Gonçalo Figueiredo, nasci e cresci no Porto, Portugal, e tenho 30 anos. Estudei Economia e Gestão, mas após um breve estágio em finanças empresariais, decidi mudar para tecnologia.
No início devagarinho, mas depois subitamente, acabei por me tornar num programador. “Subitamente” porque aprendi realmente a programar com a minha primeira experiência com empreendedorismo — um negócio semelhante ao mytutor.co.uk, construído com WordPress, em Portugal.
Agora, trabalho como programador web freelancer. Estou associado a uma agência sediada na Polónia chamada Xfive, mas também tenho os meus próprios clientes.

Olga started her journey with WordPress in 2015 and joined Saucal, WooExperts, in 2016. She worked as a Project manager, managing a delivery team for years. Then she moved to the role of Success Manager, covering all the recruiting, hiring, and staff success for the fully remote team. Since Olga joined Saucal, the team has grown from five to 23 staff members, from four to nine countries, and from three to seven time zones!
Attended her first WordCamp in Toronto, Canada in 2016 where she was a volunteer. She joined the Portuguese WordPress community in 2017 as a volunteer at WordCamp Lisbon and has been an active member ever since. Olga was a Speaker at WordCamp Porto 2018 and WordCamp Lisbon 2019.
